Diego Guardamino (Bilbao, 1982) has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Haxx and sole director of all companies within the Group. This strategic decision strengthens the company’s organisational structure, with the aim of ensuring maximum legal and operational security at a key moment in its consolidation and expansion.
Guardamino has played a pivotal role in Haxx’s evolution in recent years. As General Manager, he has successfully led the Group’s transformation into a multi-energy platform, expanding its service station network, consolidating its trading operations and supporting the launch of new business units such as Aletteo, the Group’s electricity retail company.
Under his leadership, the Group achieved record revenues of €1.5 billion in 2024, experiencing sustained growth in both volume and diversification.
The new phase that begins with his appointment as CEO is supported by an ambitious growth plan, which includes:
- International expansion of the company.
- Consolidation of fossil fuel and biofuel trading operations.
- Expansion of the logistics network and energy terminals, with the aim of optimising the supply chain and strengthening the Group’s strategic position within the sector.
- Expansion of the service station network.
Strengthening Aletteo as a relevant player in the electricity and gas markets.
This leadership change also reflects the Group’s commitment to acting with full responsibility and transparency. In this context, Alejandro Hamlyn, until now the Group’s sole director, has decided to step aside in order to safeguard the company’s stability and reputation, ensuring that personal matters unrelated to Haxx’s business do not interfere with its development.
With Diego Guardamino at the helm, Haxx reaffirms its commitment to sustainable growth, professionalised management and the consolidation of its leadership as a leading multi-energy operator.
